What are the benefits of self-compassion?

The practice of self-compassion soothes our mind and brain. It calms down the restlessness of our hearts. As it is significant for the peace of our mental health, we all may practice self-compassion. Self-compassion protects us from our traumatic experiences and excessive grief.

If we accurately practice self-compassion, then it will prove as beneficial to us. Self-compassion brings back our mental peace. It brings back the light of hope in our life. Now, the question is how we can practice self-compassion to improve the peace of our psyche.

How can I practice self-compassion?

If we want to practice self-compassion, at first, we have to give the most priority to ourselves. What you will say to yourself depends on the situation you are going through in your present life. We know that words are powerful weapons. If you can use words correctly, then it can change your psychological condition.

Condolence and counseling are very significant in this case. But if you don’t get any people to give you the condolence, then you have to practice self-compassion. You may say some soothing sentences for self-motivation. The effects of every sentence are not the same. So you have to find out which type of words and sentences are more useful for you.

How do I write a self-compassion letter?

You may practice self-compassion through ways. You may say the soothing words through verbal sounds or by written words. The self-compassion letter is more significant than verbal words. You can write down the motivational and the consolation words.

When you face the same kind of problem, you can reread your self-compassion letter. When you are going through a problematic or complicated situation, give some time to yourself. Take pepper and pen, and write down some words that can increase your mental strength. Be your motivator or councilor.

Why is the self-compassion so hard?

Though self-compassion is very beneficial to us, it is tough to practice. Self-compassion is a complicated process because you have to deal with two types of feelings simultaneously. At first, you have to deal with your uncomfortable situation to which you are going through. Then you have to go through your self-compassion. These are 2 different kinds of activity.

It is usual for anybody to perform two opposite types of action simultaneously. When you feel your psychological condition is vulnerable, then you have to increase your mental strength. You need to keep aside your emotion and think logically. Juxtaposing the emotion with the logic is very difficult. So the process of self-compassion is a hard one.
